The glitz, glamour and atmosphere at the Miss Melanin Africa 2021 pageant was electrifying. The contestants were beautiful and the judges were ready. And I must say, I am highly honored for the privilege of being a judge on the esteemed judging panel alongside other amazing strong black women.
The contestants represented ten beautiful African countries from the North, south, east and wesern hemisphere of Africa.
Couuntries represented include host nation Ghana🇬🇭 , Kenya🇰🇪, Togo🇹🇬, Ivory Coast🇨🇮, Senegal🇸🇳, 4Ethiopia🇪🇹, Sierra Leone🇸🇱, Nigeria🇳🇬, Liberia🇱🇷, and South Africa🇿🇦.

The contestants showed off incredible talents and amazing designs as they walked the runway. From artworks to dancing to drama, it was all on display!

Then came the moment we had all been waiting for, the crowning moment.

With bated breaths and excitement in the air, the winners names were announced as follows:
Winner : Stacey Julie Collier representing Sierra Leone; First runner up: Priscilla Nana Ama Sintimaa representing Nigeria; and 2nd runner up: Recaida Forson representing Togo.

Traditional Ghanaian music and dance were also on display as there were traditional drummers with their dancer who swayed in beautiful rythm to the stimulating beats being belted out by the drummers.

The judging panel was made of former beauty Queens, communication experts and academics in the business of fashion.
The winners were carefully selected and as a proud member of the judging panel, I am happy to note that the final choice of winners was wisely chosen.
